The ongoing mission of the Suffolk Perinatal Coalition is to improve pregnancy outcomes for women and improve family health. This will be accomplished by:

1. Promoting access to care for all women and families especially those who are economically disadvantaged.
   
   
2. Promoting /providing health education for women, families and the community at large.
   
   
3. Providing the base for a network of providers, agencies, organizations, groups, and individuals who will collectively cooperate to attain these goals.
   
   
4. Advocating for increased and improved health and social services and opportunities for women and families.
