Help stock our Baby’s Dresser, so that women throughout Suffolk County can get the myriad of items they need to care for their newborn. We have many different types of baskets to choose from. The estimated cost to make an adopt-a-basket ranges from $50 - $150.

Adopt-a-Basket makes a wonderful community service project for a school, girl or boy scout troop, church or synagogue group—even offices and businesses. Speakers from SPC are available to help launch a project and provide age-appropriate information about perinatal health in Suffolk County, the risks that many low-income women and their babies face, and what can be done to help.

Donations of individual basket items, gently used clothes for babies up to the age of two, as well as brand new strollers, car seats, child carriers, play pens, bedding and toys are also gratefully appreciated.
